Questions, problems and data requests

Get in touch

Email software.redshift@gmail.com and describe what happened. It helps to include your device and OS version, the app version shown at the bottom of the Settings screen, and what you expected to happen instead.

Automatic tracking isn't updating a habit

Open Settings → Health data → Health sync. That screen reports what is missing: measurements that still need your permission, a health provider that is not installed, or the time of the last successful sync. If a measurement still needs access, the button there requests it.

A habit only reads the one measurement you linked it to. Granting access to steps does not grant access to sleep, so a newly created habit may need its own permission.

Reviewing or withdrawing health access

Withdrawing access stops those habits updating. Values already recorded stay in your habit history until you delete them.

Deleting your data

A single record or habit

Delete the record from the habit's history, or delete the habit itself. Both remove the stored values from the device immediately.

Your cloud backup

Open Profile → Account → Delete cloud backup. This removes the backup from our storage. Your habits stay on the device.

Everything, including your account

Email software.redshift@gmail.com from the address you signed in with and ask for your account and backup to be deleted. Requests are actioned within 30 days.

Uninstalling the app removes everything held on the device, but not a cloud backup you created. Delete the backup first, or send the request above.

Privacy

The privacy policy sets out everything the app collects, including the health and fitness data used for automatic tracking and what happens to it.
